I have a 2018 Toyota Tacoma SR that I just purchased and wanted to see if it was possible to lift it or level it the pros and cons of it. If anyone has any pictures or anything that would be awesome! Im thinking of just leveling it at the moment and get some rougher tires i usually just go to the ranch with friends and off road a little not sure if it was possible.

Lift and level are the same thing with the only difference being one is only lifting half the vehicle. Pros and cons are the same, just decide if you want to raise front and rear or only the front.

Stick to stock for now until you start to hit its limitations and know better what you need. Research is your friend. That said...

Once your tires wear out it’s most common to throw on a +1 size tire in 265/75-16 size. This will be about an inch taller and offer a half in more ground clearance without any real downsides. In fact it’ll make your Odo/Speedo more accurate ha.

Falken Wildpeak AT3W are most popular and well priced these days.

If you feel the need to throw money at a depreciating asset (a stock Tacoma will get you to the lake and back just fine) don’t go any higher than a 2 inch lift if you want to keep your truck behaving and maintenance free as stock. You’ll likely just end up making the ride more stiff and driving on the same things you could have stock but maybe not, I don’t know ya.

If you’re just in it for the looks I can’t help you. Function > fashion and the word “looks” is used far too much to the n’th degree around here. Good luck. Research.
