I decided to line the back wall and floor of the safe with velcro (loop side). I got a 51" x 36" piece, cut it to 48" x 23", painted the back and floor of the safe with Gorilla Glue, and stuck it on. it has been drying over night.

Sorry to revive an old thread but would this work for my 2010 tacoma standard cab? I know i'd have to remove my tire jack and remove my center seat belt. And drill some holes.

I tried to build a truck gun once, the more I got to thinking about it the more money I spent on it. Odds of needing it are higher than the ARs in the safe at home, still extremely low but higher than my safe queens. If needed, I'd want all the same stuff I train with normally and to know that I had the better more rugged gear. Now I cringe a little when I drag my truck gun around...lol

I know Lockerdown sells this as a third gen item, but does anyone see why this wouldn't fit in a second gen double cab?

Your assumption is correct. This option focuses on security and concealment rather than quick access. Everything in life is trade offs.

Do you have any updated photos with the hook/loop installed? Im really considering this safe but its expensive and I would like to get a better idea of what would fit in it.
It would be helpful if you filled it up and showed us some more photos. If you can, please! Thank you

Trying to revive an old thread here if anybody has any more information on this. Use a Remington 700 .223, Savage .17 and Winchester SX4 12 guage for work and would love to fit at least two of those in there.

Anybody know if this would work for a 2023 double cab or is anybody currently using this?

Ah, I wish I had thought of just looking it up on google except that brought me here. I have emailed them about fitment but no response so just checking if anybody is currently using this on a 2023 since their website only goes to 2021

Yeah I saw those which the shotgun is exactly 48 inches so that might work perfectly if I angle it a bit.

It is a cool idea and if it fits 2023 then I may just get it and update the thread personally if nobody else has but testing the waters and the lack of reply from them doesn't instill confidence.

I use firearms a lot at work and need to be taking them in and out of my vehicle. Bed space is limited so wanted to find some way to lock them up without using a bed vault and this seemed like a good option.
