    Yeah those diagrams are all about the old stuff. It's not just grinding the little notch. 10mm studs/14mm nuts vs 8mm studs/12 mm bolts, different shaped diff cover and slightly larger diameter bolt pattern and flange....
    Yes, it can be done with a special jig and a LOT of fab work but it's not the fairly easy deal you have in mind

    I'll run the vin. But at this point you will need a full e locker axle, the wires that run from the axle to the truck, and an e locker 4wd controller if you want to swap one in. If you really are into off road and have $$ then just re gear it and put in an arb

    I got it ran. thank you. and yeah that's the best idea. might just sink it in a river let insurance figure it out at this point truck was sold to me with78 xxx miles just read in2012 it had 147xxx miles on it so i got fucked for sure

    Dmv did all they could . still have a loan of 20 k to pay off. Google the vin look at the add . has trd intake rear lock buttton and clearly sold as 74k miles

    They slipped the cafax into the paper work and my uncle signs it without seeing it. So that screwed me.stuck with a buckett.

    I saw the add. Sport hood, SR5 seats and TRD buttons ( for diff lock and bed power plug) are quite the indication it's been tinkered with. I don't see where they advertised it as Offroad. They posted the VIN for YOU to verify shit and the odo may have been rolled back by a previous owner... Sucks for you but this is how you learn
