Jon did that till i bought these off him..well he still is gonna do that just with 35s now..

 

How wide is the wheel with 2.75" of BS? Are you stock ones 16x7s with 5.5" of BS?

If it is a 8' wide wheel, won't that be like more than 2" further away from the ball joint compared to stock?

I thought you were going with Camburg UCAs? More clearance with those compared to stock. I think you could clear those wide tires with 4" of BS on an 8" wheel with the campurgs.

 

I'm just going to do it all at once gears wheels tires and locker.

315/75-16 so 34.6"x12.5x16. as I sit now (265/75-16) I'm about an inch away from the balljoint.

 

315s/75s are 12.5'' wide??..sorry..i don't know metric sizing very well ha

and couldn't you go 305s? split the difference haha

Understood. That does not mean that you require a wheel with 2.75" of BS. You never did clarify if those wheels are 8", 9" or 10" wide.

 

they are 8" wide, I want 16x8 with somewhere between 3-4" of BS

i think 3.5-3.75 will fit the best..

 

They certainly don't "need" to be 3"s of BS to clear the camburg uniball but that has nothing to do with wanting to have your tires stick out a country mile, for looks...sorta the way Monte's do.

 

for the love of god, we all know monte will get 0"BS just to one up me.
