Not my first choice in tire, but they're free and have at least 1/4" tread left.

I installed the small body lift a couple weeks ago. Those things are the biggest pita, but I prefer it to cut down on the fender hacking a bit.

Gotta find somebody/somewhere to chop the cab mount. I don't mind chopping it, but I can't weld...yet.

Yeah. The cutting and pounding don't really scare me that much. I plan to get it aligned and then pull the coilover and cycle the suspension in the driveway. It's the driving around on stock gears for a while that scare me. I won't be able to do those for about a year.

My wife says I accelerate like a old man. So I'm hoping my diff and trans won't hate me too much.

The front is only going up 2.5 inches, so I was going to see what it is after alignment.

I've read a lot of mixed reviews at that height. Anything over that pretty much has to have them. Anything at 2.5" or less doesn't always need them.

I got the OME 885x on OME shocks and ended up with just over 3" of lift. Needless to say i need ucas bad! You should be alright with the DC my truck weighs a good amount less due to being a regular cab.

Yeah, I was seeing that the DCLB's are only getting 2.5" at most.

New UCA's are in the long term plans. Once this setup wears out I'll go up to a full 3" lift with kings/icons/etc. Haven't really researched those as they are nowhere near in the budget right now.

How are you liking the OME?

I like it quite a bit after putting on new Ucas. It rides much better and a lot smoother than stock.

I was just saying that it rides better with upper control arms. And the is about a 1000 pound difference between the two trucks.

I'm just so impressed with my camburg upper control arms that I had to share my experience!
