    You really don't NEED a welder to make skids, just a torch and a table with a nice straight edge. Oh and some heavy duty c clamps.

    Yeah it wouldn't be a very sharp bend but would work. No warping though, as long as you heat it evenly.

    A press break is optimal.

    I made new battery tiedowns for the dual battery set up because my current one is about to fail.

    I just need a welder to finish up the job.. I'm considering the cheapo harbor freight one to get the job done.
