    why would it be 30"? :confused:


    from eye to eye on full extension would be 29" but that's from the frame down to the axle...

    travel would be 12" total...increase of 2" from my OME setup

    Not sure what your budget is, but I can recommend the Fox 2.0 series with remote resi. They are rebuildable and DSM can will valve them however you want.

    I'm running them, paired with my alcan 8 leaf pack, very pleased with the performance.

    Yeah Buddy. Elephant Hill is definitely on the list.

    One thing that is obvious from watching these JK guys is how important having an experiences spotter is. I hope we have that benefit too.

    Spotting is major part of offroading. Im actually planning on taking a course that will teach me to be a better spotter. I always feel more comfortable when theres a good spotter in front of me, especially cause me and my trucks safety is in their hands. I think with our small group we should all take turns spotting for eachother so theres always someone different in the front.

    Haha ya, i just feel so blind without one. And it makes you a better driver too, cause you never can tell what kind of angle your truck is on without seeing it from the outside. I always feel nervous when i think about to flop on my side, but my spotter always assures me that im fine. Its a good insurance on the trails

    Ya her biggest downfall for that spot was she wasnt paying enough attention to the front and rear driver side wheels.

    ^^ This. The driver loooses perspective on where his front wheels are. If you are constantly moving it is different. When you stop and become cautious, you must rely on a spotter to give you good information.

    An experienced spotter will see the big pu\icture (all 4 wheels) and keep from happening what you saw in that video. a long wheelbase Tacoma also helps in those situations.:eek:
