Easy answer buy the trd off-road get fox suspension 3-inch lift with upper control arms slap some KM3 33 tires and boom good. You don't really need to re-gear but it will help but still not really necessary. Also maybe throw a tent in the back but that means stiffer suspension in the back. Or go cheaper with OME lift kit not as nice but I have a set on one of my tacos jump it and it still works so good quality for the price. Don't recommend jumping though.

OP, I'll restate what I think you are saying.

I think you want to fit 33" tires and to do so you will need to install a lift. I don't think it is that you want to install a lift so much as you want the ability to fit 33" tire.

If that is the case you can fit the 33" tire on a Pro while retaining the apparently really nice Fox suspension which appears to be better than what is in many lift kits.

If it matters to you it seems likely resale on a stock suspension Pro will be better than on a lifted OR or Pro.

As to shopping for Models I can hardly keep up with the wife so I'm not really in that market.

Long time lurker but had to make an acct for this thread. Anyway OP just wanted to let ya know if your going MT you might be happy with the stock gearing. While yes the Rear only 4.30 stock the rest of the gearing is quite a bit different than the AT trans. Example regearing the AT to 5.29 puts it at about the same ratios as a stock MT.

There is a thread on here somewhere that has all the numbers on it.

That one is equipped with a bunch of accessories/options - the obvious 3-4K option seems well worth it.
