    No gap. Steps slide in front of the pinch weld and brackets slide behind. I will post some pics when I head out for work.

    Got my roof rack yesterday, got yelled at by the wife for buying more stuff, again, but didn't get a chance to install it.

    Will hopefully do it tonight after my soccer game since it's a super early one today.

    I like the Icon leaf pack but with a cap you might want to buy a full replacement leaf pack. Don't think these would work for you bro.

    Got the roof rack yesterday so installed it today. Maybe it's just me, maybe it's bad luck, or maybe it's the hardware, but a few of the bolts stripped rather easily and some would not screw in, at all. Seems like there might be a few "defects", at least to me, on the product. Or maybe it's because of the bolts. But the front part of the rack does not sit down/flush with the cab. Might be hard to tell on this pic... was messing with this thing for about 2 hours tonight when I think it should have only taken at most one. Going to reach out to Lisa and see if maybe I can get a new set of bolts/screws and try to re-do this. Going to be tough since a few stripped rather easily while tightening, and are stuck on there, so going to have to figure out a way to get those out...
