I decided to go this route due to not having to do wiring splices, etc.

Flippu's tips are spot on. This was also a bit more involved than I thought. The how to video is great but not accurate when it comes to running the radio harness....pay attention to Flippu's notes and save some time and aggravation...trust me on that. Otherwise, the video is very helpful on panel removal, ruining sub wiring, sub install, amp install, etc.

OEM+ is fantastic to work with. I was communicating with Daniel and I wish all vendors were as helpful and responsive. The product is quality stuff. Well made and complete. The sound is great. Sounds like it should have from the factory for the extra the Entune Plus cost.

If you want something non obtrusive great quality and sound, I recommend both the company and product. They even worked out a price without speakers since I had just upgraded them to JBLs.

it's strange, i was able to route the radio harness just as described in the video...under the driver running board. i'd say there's just enough slack, and nothing more...i had a harder time pushing the radio back in after adding the extra connections. but that was about the toughest part of the install.

I believe that because most Toyota Radios probably share the same connections as say Scion, they probably have wiring already done and pre-cut for specific models and just grabbed the wrong one for the Tacoma.

It would be interesting to know. I sent Daniel an email with a link to this thread.

It was strange it didn't work per the instructions, but it worked out and may even be cleaner...less of a run under the dash.

Not sure why you'd specifically want the kits speakers when there are Really good aftermarket speakers out there for probably the same price

Never received a price, once I did, then I would have determined whether to move forward or not.

One deciding factor was that I didn't need adapters.

I had the same experience with Daniel when I purchased my OEM audio for my tC. They have some of the best customer service.

Glad to hear others are taking advantage of their systems. I cannot since I do not have a double cab, but they messaged me on fb stating they are looking into options for the access cab

Thought it would be worth mentioning that there's currently a $200 coupon on the product page. I placed the order for mine last night! Coupon is good through Oct. 31st.

This kit has everything I want a single speaker box in the right place but I'm a little concerned that the 8 inch sub won't be enough bass for me. Like you had said. Thanks for posting this. I have contacted the company for more info.

Just an FYI to those who are considering purchasing:

I purchased this kit on Feb 22nd, talked to Daniel and was told it would take them 7-14 days to put together before it was shipped out. It now has been 3 weeks and it still has not shipped. While they have been helpful and in answering all of my questions and easy to get a hold of, I would appreciate if they would put an accurate time of when they would ship my product, or at least not charge my credit card until they shipped the product. That is a lot of money to have spent and nothing to show for it yet. Once I get the system and have it hooked up I will let you guys know my thoughts (for what its worth) on it.
