    Hope this is the right place to put this.

    I purchased a 2012 DCSB TRD sport v6 4x2 a little over a month ago and received a decent interest rate, 3.05%. They are currently offering the truck with 0% financing now. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried to "refinance" their loan on their vehicle after they purchased it. I'm guessing this won't work since the stealership already sold me the truck and they would basically lose money if they gave me the new 0% financing but I was wondering what your opinion was or if I should even contact the dealership about this.

    Not about the dealership. Call the finance company. But damn, I wish I could have gotten 3%.

    3% is a really good rate. I'd be happy with that!

    If it's a promotional rate that goes with a new Tacoma- I doubt you'll get it. If it's just the going rate- Maybe they'll hook you up.
    ::shrug:: tough to tell.

    I assume you financed through Toyota Financial. I doubt they will adjust the interest rate of your loan to satisfy a current promotion after you had already purchased the vehicle.

    0% on a Tacoma is unheard of in the Pacific NW. Now, the Tundra seems to always have a 0%/60 mos. promotion going.

    Thanks for the help guys. I emailed the sales person we purchased the truck from and its basically the best rate when you purchase the vehicle unless you find a better rate from a bank or other financial institution. The current offer is 0% for 36 months, 1.9% for 48 months and 2.9% for 60 months so we still got a good deal. Loving the truck and no problems so far.
