cool vid, and within the laws should not get this locked. But any talk of illegal activity such as dring fast and breaking speed limits on roads with regular limits will get this shut down quick. Mind your p's and q's folks......op, be careful making a vid while driving fast. Be safe brother.:)

Not sure I would take my truck up to those speeds even if there were no speed limit laws.. think I would be pushing the limit of my duratracs.

My step dad actually had his rear tire explode while driving faster than he should have been in really hot weather, he almost lost control.

    Lots.
That's odd. There is a sweet spot between 80-85. 18.5 mpg was a solid average for me at those speeds.

I lived in K-town for 5 years and loved driving on the autobahn. I drove an BMW X5 over there and routinely drove +100mph. Coming back to the states I got 3 speeding tickets in the first month back. Once you get used to driving at those speeds going 65 mph is like a crawl.

Cruising in the left lane on the autobahn is illegal and dangerous as hell, BMW's, Porsche's, Audi's on that road come barreling down at 130+ all the time. You do not want to be in the way. Also, you have to check real hard before pulling into the left lane. I remember once looking in my mirror to move out and seeing a car way, way back. I looked ahead and then looked in my mirror again and it was on me, an Audi A8 going past me like a meteor. The other thing I liked about the autobahn was 18 wheelers are banned from anything but the right lane and can't drive on Sunday's!

I noticed in your vid the rpms over 4k for a long period of time at that speed! Yikes!

Yes, there is a BSP XR in Germany that cruises around doing 140 mph in the unrestricted zones.

I wish we had roads like that here. I've taken my truck up to 115 when it was stock but now my truck would vibrate off the road with anything over 80.

is your speedo adjusted for the bigger tires? you said you have 285s right?

that means you were probably actually topping out around 120-125mph!

Defiantly a dream for me. Wouldn't be much of a vehicle left at 130 kph anyway lol. When I win the lottery I will buy like some fancy car and just cruise down there.

I chuckled when I read in the owner's manual that you should air up the tires 3 PSI more when driving high speed "such as on the Autobahn". Crazy to think that there are some actually running on it.
