There is a lot here for everyone. We don't have enough data to make any informed opinions based on such a small sample size in the current conditions. For example, how much were Tacoma sales hurt by product availability as opposed to the Ranger and the Gladiator (which there seemed to be plenty of). We also don't know about profitability. We know Jeep was heavily discounting Gladiators. Enough here for Toyota to feel good -- they sold twice the amount of any other model. But they have to be at least mildly concerned about the huge rise of the Ranger. Ford has to feel good and can point to crushing its competition and forcing a two horse race -- Toyota versus Ford. It will be interesting to keep an eye on when production cranks back up and product availability stabilizes.
