2005 tacoma pre runner

Hello everyone
Need some help to figure this out , I had a 2005 Toyota pre runner 2.7 v4 2wd automatic transmission, and I had a P0500 code , I alredy checks the two speed sensors both working good .
So my question , Is recommended get a use cluster from a wrecking yard or internet ? If yes after I installed how can I put the miles from my truck to the new cluster
