I love my double cab for camping. It's amazing how much crap you can cram back there and not have to worry about it being exposed to the elements. On the flip side I seem to have no use for all of my bed space (even with just the shortbed). My wife and I packed for 9 days of camping in Moab and all that ended up in the bed was my spare tire, a cooler and my grill. Though I do keep all of my tools in the toolbox. That section of my bed is well used.

 

I can't fit two lawn mowers one behind the other in a short bed

I won't have kids until i'm at least mid 30s #bachlorlyfeFTW

 

What kind of lawnmowers? Couldn't you just turn them sideways. haha

That is your case though too, I don't even own 1 lawnmower let alone 2; and you can get double cabs with the 6ft anyway

Just big craftsman push mowers. Also a straight shaft stihl weed whacker probably wouldn't fit long ways either.

Turning the mowers sideways just makes them more difficult to remove and more difficult to fit other things in with them

 

get a trailer!!!!!

 

Have one. Not advantageous when it is open...and when not always having room for it at residential properties...i swear we've been through this a half a dozen times

NO ME GUSTA. Not made of money brah. However, that has been considered so that i have a place to store my mowers out of sight when "Operation Death To Cap" finally prevails.
