I still have yet to see a new Ranger on the road. It's odd considering I was seeing the new Ridgeline almost immediately.

Ford and Jeep are simply reaming the early adopters. Those who just have to have the newest truck on the road are going to get bent. I'm sure prices will adjust closer to reality after the initial "gotta have it" rush.

Most of tacos around here are DCLB TRD sport. Definately the most popular choice over here and you see a looot of tacos like every light. The MT ya, i agree not many people want that anymore. We are a dying breed...:(

The main factor for my Tacoma purchase was that 3rd pedal. And, my truck is in with those March numbers. One month in, and I really enjoy driving my taco.

Pretty much 9 out of 10 Tacos here you meet are DCLB Sports as well, I bet there’s a dozen of them at my local dealer right now.

I was at the local Ford today and there are 2 rangers there that have been since they got them a month or so ago and the only 2 I’ve seen yet ! Stopped by Chev and the ZR2 Colorado fancy off-road model, not sure what it’s called is $58,198 MSRP before delivery and tax and all that, what the eff !

The “new” current Ranger is about 6 + years old in the rest of the world. I do not understand their logic with that, half arse reintroduction and a turbo engine to boot, instead of a diesel option. I drove the diesel a few years ago and it was ok, still would prefer the diesel hylux though as I felt that the toyo drove better... just my opinion...

I may have given up and gone AT but I'd have gone full size (F-150).

I feel truly bad for anyone that's paying the MSRP any Jeep,Ford, or Chevy truck. Price has always been higher on those manufacturers products, its part of their marketing approach. List any of those for 5-6k off and someone out there will be tempted thinking the discount is big or wont last. Its not unrealistic to get towards 9 or 10k off on the upper tier offerings. A co worker of mine just bought a Colorado, walked out with 9k-ish off MSRP, easily.

My friend just bought a 2018 ZR2 Colorado diesel for $40k off the lot. That was a $53k vehicle. I thought it was a pretty good deal.

The dealer thought it was a good deal too. When buddy drove away they salesman said to the manager “phew.....got rid of another one”.

I agree. My buddy is in Indianapolis and they still have 2018’s on the lot and I am sure the 2020’s are coming down the pipe...
Good time for a deal, if you do not mind a not current year. I think that didn’t change anything form 18 to 19, and his has all the goodies and shiny things

That’s the point, besides the F series everything they make from the Focus to the Explorer looks the same.

Nothing wrong with that, but you are almost as small a minority as the manual gearbox crowd.

Why is that surprising? The Tacoma has such high residual value it is easy to lease. A 3 year old Yaris is worth 25% of MSRP on a good day.

I was eyeing buying a Gladiator Rubicon, online it was 47K with a AUTO option, then with being rather cheap for options it was 52K, I was like hell, I can buy a Taco, bumpers winch tires rims FRONT locker installed an um, sliders lights etc, an probably sit at 47K, AN my wife thinks the taco looks so much nicer then a Gladiator, I got her approval to even buy the Taco, so that's a bonus for me.
