No more Dodge Dakotas. Makes the Taco about the only "small" truck left out there. Chevy Colorado is gone as well as the US version of the S-10. Believe the Ford Ranger is still out there but it is tiny.

Dakota and Taco are the widest of the small trucks.

35!? What model are you looking at? Bought my 13 for 29k. 4x4, Access cab, auto, trd off road. Double cab was about 1500 more. Either way, it's still a lot of money.

It seems you are comparing Apples to Oranges. A New 2014 might sticker for $35K, but that's not what smart buyers are really paying; just like you only paid $26.5K for a truck that stickered at $31K. There's more features on a 2014 than your 2008 too. Are you by chance looking at the Limited model for $35K which comes with leather and a butt load of chrome?

you forgot the Mitsubishi Raider which is nothing but a Dakota. Those are still around. I had a 2002 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab 4x4 fully loaded. Now I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma BCSB OR 4x4 also fully loaded. Only differences between the two, is:
    Dakota 5mpg less than tacoma.
Dakota, same engine performance from its V8 4.7L as the tacoma's V6 4.0L
Dakota Softer ride and more suspension travel than tacoma.
Tacoma better quality and tighter tolerances.
Same cab and bed space (in my opinion).

Everyone has not have had your education (paid by parents)!

However it's easy to see that you are a totally emancipated Ass Hole, responsible to no one, and caring nothing about your fellow man! You are an embarrassment to humanity and especially yourself and family!

Normally I would follow up with "Think About It"! But it your case the statement you made truly depicts how mentally deficient you really are!

Everything is going up man... everything. And sure you can buy a full size truck for that money, but what full size is worth buying over a Tacoma?

So in 5+ years the nominal price increase from $31k to $35k is less than 2.5% per year. And that's nor factoring in the standard bluetooth and new stereo. What are you complaining about?
