tacoma pro wheels vs 4runner pro sema wheels. thoughts???

    Better looks and cheaper. If you think wheels are wheels then why are you upgrading at all?

    Looks are subjective. I think those popular method wheels are not very good looking, fit more the "bro" style trucks. Fake beadlocks are a turn off. The only reasonable looking aftermarket wheel I've seen is the Rays SCS- and they ain't cheaper.
    I prefer the factory style look, especially with a Pro truck- trying to keep it in the factory styling space.
    I upgraded to 17s to 1) accomodate more and better/cheaper tire options 2) accomodate a big brake kit for my future.

    The 4runnner Pro wheels were a perfect choice given those requirements. My only regret is not going 285.

    For three 17" Sema wheels. If I dont remove the front mud guard, what tire size should I choose?
