True. Indiana is adding jobs. The all new Hybrid Sienna is expected to sell well and they can't build enough Highlanders.

Moving the Sequoia to Texas was way overdue. The Sequoia and Tundra share a lot of DNA.

Contrary to popular belief...not a single American job was lost in shifting all Taco production to Mexico. The Baja plant has been producing Tacomas longer than any other plant. So the infrastructure/parts supplier network was already there....a good portion of it in the southern United States, for what it's worth.

Not sure why people get in a big stink in [current year] about assembly in U.S. vs. Mexico, considering the sheer amount of automation in automotive factories. I haven't been to either, can't say for sure.. but if it's anything like the Tesla factory in Fremont I went to, the differences between the Toyota factories are probably small enough that "outdoor ambient temperature" is a notable bullet point in comparison.

Which is to say.. order your new Taco, sit back, relax, and christen it with either a Yuengling or a Corona Extra. Then forget about it

If this is a serious concern I sure hope people don’t start walking around the house looking at appliances or electronics.

The Tacoma plant is in Guanajuato. Central Mexico, way south of the border.

I toured the San Antonio plant a few years ago and got to see the birthplace of my 2016. It was a fantastic experience, very impressive how they cranked out a truck every 60 seconds.

    You’re so woke, bro..
LOL.. but seriously, I think you’re confusing pride with racism. I haven’t seen anything racist unless I missed something.

Right?! Their labor cost should be cut by about 7-14% but yet they’re selling the trucks the same cost as the Texas built ones. Makes me upset that Toyota is really cheaping out and milking the consumers.
