2010 Tacoma TRD Offroad Pkg

I've been wanting to make a locking pull out drawer for the bed of my truck mainly for storage of firearms. I've seen pictures of peoples end product but I have no idea where to start or how I would put it together. If anyone has done this before and could provide me with some tips for the build then that would be great. Im going to be building it on my 2010 4door Taco short bed w/ leer shell.
