I hear ya. I can't park in a garage but I'll be putting a "club" on the steering wheel for a while (for whatever that's worth) and look out the front room window a few times a night. The guy interested in the truck seemed like he would do anything to have it and wanted it really bad. He mentioned the color (radiant red) and I guess since they don't come in that anymore he's on a mission to get a used one.

In Georgia we pay advalorem tax(Tag tax), My tag for my new 2011 Tacoma in August is going to cost me $280. I was paying $220 for a 2005 Tacoma .

Also sales tax when purchasing a vehicle from a dealer. My county it is a 7% tax rate.

Some counties try and make you pay property tax on boats & RVs.

KBB is nothing but an inflated value, yes they used to be pretty accurate in the 90's same with Nada, but starting early 2000s they were always behind and stayed behind, as in way off...

you want real numbers get them from someone with a Manheim account ;)

So I'm new to the forum and I'm seriously looking to buy a double cab 4x4 tacoma with the shorter bed, offroad or sport package. I'm in California and I've come across a couple of 2007's out the door for close to $25,000 in good shape with about 65,000 miles. Many 2008 with about 50,000 miles are going for close to 29,500. For a few thousand more, your in a new one. I'm having a hard time trying to justify buying anything up from 2008 up.
