haha. How’d you cut the weather stripping? I’m going to drill 3/4 inch holes for the spacers. Saw it on YouTube. Looked cleaner that way IMO.

This is the ideal tool to use - get this thing and a mallet and bang away once you’ve measured out the points you need to punch out. Makes for a clean seal when you put the silicon in as well. https://www.homedepot.com/p/General...hWxf1Jtee-uEr6brnjMaAn6EEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

thanks man. The YouTube video that I saw used a dremel first to cut a square on the other side of the weather stripping to drill the hole because of the metal wire that runs through the stripping.

with the punch tool it’ll go straight through the wire?

Yep you just have to center it on the place you’ll be putting the spacers for the rack install, and whack it a few times with a mallet. I’d also recommend you do it on a hard wood surface beneath too - buy a 2x4 and do it on that

awesome thanks. Seems much easier to use the punch tool than using a dremel and drill.

Did you guys remove the shark fin on the roof when you wrapped it? It did you just trim and wrap around it?

My roof has a mean sunburn on it, and I’m looking to wrap it the same. I really like all the pics in this thread I think it looks badass! Anyone on here know where I can go to get mine done in the SoCal area? Preferably near the inland empire (Fontana)

How did you cut the hood stamp to fit so well? I want to do something similar to mine, but buying the precut good stamp is like 5x more expensive than just buying the vinyl roll.
    Looks great!
