Try to find a truck that has the ones you want, then get in and out a few times. I have the toyota grey nurfbars steps they are nice looking but all they do for me is get my jeans dirty. I'm 5'9" if I try to use them I hit my head getting in or I rub my leg on them if i don't.

I like these Predator ones, i'm going to keep mine for now.

    Thanks!
    Interesting....
Does Wilson have these? I know the frames on the AC & DC are the same.
I still want a set of DC running boards for my AC.

Just buy a set from your dealer. If they dont fit, you can return them. Even if the bolt holes dont line up, it shouldnt be too hard to add them.

    Just a thought.

^Why buy everything from the dealer? There's nothing wrong with these according to the folks that have them. I mean, should we buy tires from the dealer, too?

No, I don't have them. I just remember folks here and on TN saying they liked them so I threw it out there.

No, I'm not saying that at all (I hate my dealer and try to avoid them). I just really liked the Toyota ones, and I didn't have to pay shipping. If Janster wants to try DC boards on her AC, this might be an OK way to go.

If someone wants the Toyota OEM boards, it kinda makes sense to get them from the dealer. That's all I'm saying.

Not to frame, but to body right under rocker panels. Six existing holes each side (on Access anyways 6). Don't worry - VERY solid.

Frame is further in. No holes.

    Rood ruck.

    Exactly...

Toyota running boards mount to the body.

I've done lots of research on this already and have been tempted. However - installing the DC running boards on my AC would require building a custom built bracket to the boards & frame for support at the backside of the cab where the bed is. I just haven't had the time or wanted to spend $350 on a set of running boards.

If I can find a set that mounts to the frame that I like - then I'd rather go that route. Again - I just don't have the time to deal with custom fabrication.
