Do you have the electric adjustable seats or manual?
I hear Seat Jackers work great for Manual seats.
I tried them on my electric adjustable seats and they were horrible. Have heard others that didn't like them as well - all seemed to come from the electric adjustable camp. There are some electric adjusters that like them but at best 50/50. YMMV.

Where the jackers help is with the (surprising) lack of thigh support.

It seemed all my weight was on my heels and butt bones, my leg muscles were constantly working and after an hour or so I would get achy and be shifting around. The jackers fixed that for me.

    I'm 5'11" with a 30" inseam for reference.

These seats arent designed, the whole cab configuration actually, for those over 5-10. Thigh and hip pain, hitting your head, folding your legs up to get in and out, trying to see out the middle of the windshield, etc Being over 40 doesnt help as well.

But dang, its the cost of lookin good cruising down the road. ha ha

Very simple solution to try as a FIRST step…get a simple automobile seat cushion (gel + foam) as a starting point. My wife has a hip replacement and seat cushions were the first thing to try for more comfort. It raises your seating position (w/out modifying your sear attachment points) and the gel+foam may address other comfort factors.

I got one of these butt savers - turns out to be a spine saver too due to the design -
Works very well for me - got one for each seat passengers like it too.

I'm a bit on the smaller side so the added height doesn't bother me at all.

I found the seats were hard on long trips as well. I bought this seat cushion which helped a lot.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I've never seen anyone claim that they 'soften' the seat. What they do, though, is change your seating position and weight distribution, adding support to your thighs. I too used to squirm after about an hour. Now I can drive for 4-5 hours without even a second thought.

I have been riding my seat for 2 1/2 years and I am happy with it. Mine is electric so many adjustments to no complaints just saying.

If you got the coin, install a nice pair of aftermarket seats like Scheel Mann. I did mine. Most comfortable seat I've ever had in a vehicle. Side note: you'd be removing the side seat airbags. But I got all my lights and sensors defeated so it was well worth it to me. Lowered my seated position by 2 inches. Has a captains chair armrest on the left side (not installed yet in this photo). Made an arm rest for the right side seen in this picture.

went with front and rear jackers and an additional lumber cushion branded by Goodyear that I found at TJ Maxx while shopping for underwear. I put the lumbar cushion under my Carhartt seat covers. Its like I put a lazyboy recliner in my Taco.....

    Yeah.
From reviews I have read, high-end seats like the Scheel Mann aren't really any softer, just more ergonomically correct and more adjustable.

I'm surprised that people are using seat jackers on the front of the seat, most use them on the rear. I've been running them on the rear for a couple of years and just removed them. My lower back feels better now with it back in the stock position. Raising the front would seem odd to me. If I was shorter, maybe raising the entire seat would be an improvement.

Everyone is built differently, different heights and widths and proportions. No seat will be perfect for everyone, but a combination of seat jackers that helps spread pressure out is worth a shot.

My initial drive home after purchasing my truck was 700+ miles and my right leg and thigh fell asleep. Never had that issue on long trips in my 2nd Gen Sport. Tried front jackers and eliminated the pain and subsequently added the rear to experiment. I love how the seat feels now, but I'm nearing the limit of being able to see out of the windshield.

Seat Jackers for long distance travel/road trips. I take em out for daily. My thighs hit the steering wheel when I get in and out due to my Schwarzenegger size thighs.

my 2nd gen... i found out quickly after purchase I couldn't drive it more than 45 minutes without severe pain in my hip, and I was only 26. My mom made a wedge shaped cushion I put under my seat cover that helped. Eventually either my body got used to it, or the seat bolsters squashed/broke in. I removed the cushion after a year or two and I can now sit in the truck all day with zero issues. Had the truck 12 years now.

Am I the only one who doesn’t have an issue with the stock seats? I’ve done 24 hr road trips in mine (only stopping for gas) and haven’t had an issue… maybe I’m just used to peasant seating.
