All the trucks sit at the same height except the Pro.

    You'll need 5100s.

Suspension or spacers are going to be what you need to change / add to achieve that.

5100’s have (I want to say 5?) snap ring adjustment points on the front struts. You’ll want to pair them with your OEM coil, I don’t recommend aftermarket coils, Neither does Bilstein (for these shocks specifically)

Also, shocks themselves are not what give you your lift, it’s the spring. So, you’ll end up on either the third-fifth perch to an achieve that. I’d recommend a shop help you with this to maximize outcome. Or a few buddies with some know how, a spring compressor tool, and a few cases of beer.

Lastly, your rear end.. you’ll either end up with blocks, a new leaf pack or doing an AAL if you want to bring the rear end up. Again, shocks alone do not give lift.

I’m running Eibach’s stage one pro lift. It’s alright, Bilstein (IMO) is better quality, but more stiff. I have an OME AAL in the rear. I’m sitting at a 2.5” lift - leveled, with 265/75/16’s

    - Eibach’s kit is around 6-700$
    - 5100’s can be had for around 400$
    - Spacer / strut-puck (not recommended) 50-200$

These are just examples of what you may expect to pay

copper A/T 265 /70 r16 on steel rims , 1 inch difference in height -front is Lower than rear - would you recommend blistein 5100 up front ???? im only interested in getting a 2 inch adjustment in the fronts -- and to get 1 inch in the rear would I use the same 5100 in the rear ????? if it gets too expensive I may just do the fronts

You can do 5100’s in the front and rear, this won’t impact the rear of the trucks ride height. The adjustment points on the 5100 will allow you to adjust the front. You can do 1” with the 5100’s and the stock spring.

The front of your truck uses struts with coils(springs) and the strut assembly has snap ring (notches) for adjustment points. The spring sits on a mount, and the snap rings adjust up and down, for height specially. So, you can set that for 1”.

The rear is just a shock. Again, it offers no height. It’ll sit exactly as it does now.

    A few.
Sounds like the 2/1 TRD lift is right up your alley.

According to Bilstein, us owners of ACLB. can only get a 1.55 lift.....2" lift is not recommend. (I wrote bilstein and thats what they advised) i have the exact same truck.
I bought Bilstein 5100s but have not installed yet.

Found email, this is what they wrote.

Thank you for contacting Bilstein of America. Using the top most position on your applications will over extend your suspension and cause premature wear to other components such as the shocks, bushings, and ball joints

Prime example of also why they do not recommend aftermarket coils.

I blew a set up pushing them past their limits. Good find.

Sometimes i question companies....but at the cost of things these days, ill go with what they say.....

My last tacoma was a DCLB which is also on there not to do list. 5th notch. At the time i couldnt get bilstein 5100s anywhere, so i went with Eibach pro set at 2". Before i installed, called Eibach and asked same question about 2" lift, they advised no problems on those models. And i never had any issues with the coilovers the 4 yrs i owned the truck, set at 2".... different company specs on same truck, then again different coilovers.....

    None
Shocks do not normally lift a truck unless air shocks. Springs do.

off road warehouse is proposing MAX TRAX strut spacer which will level the tacoma front t back total coast. $663 .00 remember im just looking for the appearance not trying to achieve any off road benefits by the way the bilsteins are not even available for 2023 Tacoma trd - I do not want to mess with the original ride im told spacers just lift the body a bit , any thoughts

Bilsteins 5100s is the way i went. Bought online $140 each. Local shop will install around $400. And realignment is about $100 in my area....$780. and you will get a better ride. Imo as far as i know bilstein 5100s will fit your 2023.

Never been a fan of spacers... From what I read adding spacers over extends your travel and you run into problems.

Bilsteins 5100s on the top setting, 4runner Gray TRD Pro Sema wheels, 285/70/17 Toyo AT3s, Sumo Bump stops, TRD exhaust, ECGS Clamshell bushing, 1/4 shim for the lean and one inch rear block, OEM Pro grill and garnish OEM TRD Skid plate, TRD CAI, Demon Brackets, Rigid Industries Pro fog lights, OEM Trail Rails sidebars, Diode Dynamics LED SL1 high and low beam lights, OEM Roof racks, Clazzio leather heated seats, Remote Start, TRD Pro shift knob, tinted windows, Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for the headunit and sub and amp combo, OEM Puddle lights, OEM tailgate lock, OEM bed mat, LED interior lights, OEM blackout kit for letters, JLT catch can, upgraded 27F toyota True Start battery, Vleds led tail light kit with Pro tail lights, OEM Rave4 side mirrors with convex spotters, just to name a few mods.
Westscott design makes a new clip for the Bilstein 5100 to achieve more lift, so I would think it may work on the rebranded TRDs. Give them a call.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
You only get a half inch raise in the nose switching from Sport to Offroad shocks. And truthfully the sport shocks are better then the offroad for everything except trail (off road) riding. But you won't get a lift just changing the shocks.

Here is my sport with 2022 OR shocks and front coils. You might be able to see the 1/2 inch in the front. The rear shocks made no change (as expected)

Do NOT use spaces or any true lift above 2 inches. Lifting a taco above 2 inches is a long term headache. I've made this mistake on other trucks. Anything over 2 inches and you need to modify your driveline. Or change your U-joints every 40k.
