Ok that could be a fuel pump LOL but before you panic and buy a pump you should clean the maf sensor. Also you were right to check battery and alt connections too I hope.. Also look in dude box and make sure you don't have a loose but on one of those bigger battery power cables in the fuse box. Grab the cables and flex them around, they might be loose but you gotta put your hands o them to know feel me..

YOU could put a fiel pressure gauge on it and try too catch the fuel pump slipping but my mokney is on a dirty or bad maf or loose electrical connection.

Not really a mechanic as you might have guessed. Just a sounding board and sometimes I sound stupid.

This is fixable.. don't be afraid to grab wiring and flex on hoses and stuff.. while it's running! If you grab a pcv hose that is soggy and leaking it will make the engine die right in front of you. Did you check the ignition switch lik e I mentioned?

I am learning like the rest of the newbies, don't have my 07 anymore so no real need to worry about this issue. I got bigger problems with figuring out this 17 I got now.

I did check the ignition switch. But would that cause a stall also?

I would have to say yes. It makes a battery connection, which is good. Problem is after that.

Absolutely.. all the power for the car ultimately goes through the switch (acc, run, crank,) if you bump it with your knee or it just shifts around (they loosen up over time, you stick the key in it every day for 10 years) and it can lose contact for a split second , then go back to working
