Tacoma Side Bed Rail Bars

I’m wanting to install some Bed Rail Bars like the images below, obviously on a Tacoma of course, for a couple reasons. Wondering if anyone has done it? Where did you buy them? If you have pictures of it done? I think they look awesome and will be so much easier to tie down bigger boxes that I carry around a lot.

 

They're useless for strapping stuff down and they look like ADA toilet grab bars

 

What's wrong with the stock tie down cleats? I find them very useful for strapping cargo down.

 

That’s hilarious! I didn’t even realize that! I can totally see it.

 

The stock ones are fine. Every once in a while they stick out a little far and so the convenience of the bars looked promising.

 

Yeah, I could see that. You may be able to install something like this instead. Might have to reinforace the bed rails, though.



What I wish came with the truck was something like the Rangers overseas. Tie down points on the outside of the bed.

 

Nope I'm thinking 83 hilux built into the outside bed rail
