Tacoma Side mirror upgrade options

I forgot about this mod. Definitely going with the RAV4 mirrors when my truck comes in. They are half the price and OEM style.

 

Just did this modification to my 2021 SR, bought the mirrors off Ebay from a seller in Japan (goodlifeyourlife). Can someone clarify what the additional connections are for? I assume blind spot indicator. Already installed the mirrors and work perfectly. Just curious regarding the unexpected connections.

 

Mirror heater. Switch near the fan control

 

I found the Rav mirrors distracting. My eyeballs kept getting mixed up with the two images in the same mirror, especially since the left side is where i look most of the time. Unfortunately I couldn't line up a truck with the BSM, so I guess it's over the shoulder looking for me.

It's ridiculous these weren't factory if you don't have the blind spot light.
They work great
