I figured out how to drill the frame. Use a high speed steel bit, cobalt doesn't seem to help against this frame, and a lot of lube. Literally every 15 seconds I would stop and lube the bit. This might go without saying, but punch a dent in the middle of the spot you want to drill, then drill a 9/32" hole first, and then a 9/16" hole. I found using my cordless 18v Makita at the lowest speed setting at almost the lowest speed I could hold the trigger at while still applying a great deal of pressure on the bit had the best results. With this method I was able to drill all the rest of the holes without wearing out the bits.

I would only drill after lining up the sliders on jack stands and then securing the no drill bolts so you don't have to mess around trying to line up the bottom holes where you would want them.

I had the sliders up in the mountain for the last two days. No huge impacts but they definitely seemed to do the job

Wonder if the drill bit size is the same one required for the 1st gen. I will be installing my sliders this weekend hopefully. What size drill bit do I need for the 1st gen bolt on sliders?

Anymore bolt on sliders in stock that will fit 2015 DCSB?

Also do you have a front bumper thats like you wrap around rear bumper that does not require removal of factory bumper?

    Thanks

I have one set of DC/SB hybrids in stock. We only have the front plate bumpers for the Tacoma's.

What would the lead time look like for a pair of bare, round sliders for an access cab with a long bed?

Do you have any pictures of double cabs with the Xwings mounted on them. Those look sweet. I'm in tears I missed this sale.
