Bigger but squishier (scientific term). Makes hitting the bump stops less hitting and more controlled resistance then stop

I lifted a 2001 Tacoma with a spacer and it was nothing but issues. CV boots were popping open left and right. It's a bad idea but I guess I'll F off. You won't last here long with your attitude. No need to tell people to F off.

how dare you have an opinion!! I too ran a spacer lift at one time and smartly swapped to adjustable coilovers, but I'm going to F off too.

Both of you F off! I have a coilover lift on the front but a block In the rear and now I wanna do an AAL instead of the block...because you guys make sense! My wallet says F off with your logic!

Lifted coilovers are way better. I had a 3" spacer kit on for 2 years and I hated every minute of it. The ride was harsh and it degraded offroad performance. Once I upgraded, I was way happier.

Yeah im gunna run the spacers for awhile an them upgrade when i financially can everyone seems to shame them even though no one can tell me why lol but for the sake of my truck and paranoia ill switch them out i plan to run them for at least 30 000 miles if no issues occur

Thats a good idea but i wonder if longer shackles create any problems or just a weaker shackle

Everything, when you take 3 inches out of your travel and when you add blocks that is what you are doing. Your shocks will bottom out quicker on down travel and on up travel there will be a lot more stress on control arm bushings and ball joints because the coils will have more pressure on them before you hit the bump stops.

The ride is way less comfortable. I hate on it because I experienced it. If you can deal with it, I say do what you want. It's your truck. Just own your decision. Youd be better off saving now and buying a better kit than spending the money on a spacer lift that you may (and probably will) regret.

I have never lifted a truck before. Why are coilovers better than spacers?

I’m just a simple Alabama boy. I don’t get it.
