Exactly. I see a lot of comments of people that don't have them thinking that all you need to do is THINK about driving the truck on snow and it will lock up and throw you into the ditch or something. It is max fun when you understand how it works and have power behind it (with appropriate throttle control).

My favorite is when I leave the car wash, there is a 90degree turn onto a busy street that people routinely drive too fast on. I usually sneak into traffic sliding the rear end out and then match others speed within a few seconds with the supercharger.

    sounds like a dream
Air locker probably can’t do that
probably requires stop, 4LO, compressor on, activate locker, and go straight
Air locker reduces ability to turn front wheels

vs truetrac give it gas RWD wheels slip so it kicks on

lot of off road Jeeps run them
even recommended in Australia as cheaper but still good alternative to ARB

    stout, strong design
No additional parts to fail from heat like e-locker magnet getting heated up by fluid etc

driving even with open diffs on slick surfaces requires forethought regardless anyway

and no air compressor cost + plumbing required
Definitely appealing and a hard choice of F/R truetrac from ECGS vs dual ARB…
