    Truck is turned off, key out of ignition, e-brake is off, headlights turned on. Only 1 daytime running light is illuminated:

    Am I missing something? Should not both DRL's be lit up? When I start the truck the drivers side then kicks on.

    My 2019 SR5 DRL's both light up together, like you expect.

    Have you checked the bulb to make sure it's good? The DRL bulbs have two separate filaments

    Hi guys, I was not aware they were dual filament, I guess that will be my next check. I will swap the drivers side and passenger side bulb and see if the "problem" changes headlights.

    Mine has 7442NA dual filament bulbs in the DRL.

    Edit: I had typed the wrong number.

    Make sure you wear gloves or avoid touching the glass with your fingers. Oil from your hands can cause premature failure from uneven heating.

    Thanks, will keep that in mind. I will update the thread tomorrow. Its 9:00pm where I am and -20 Celsius (-4f), too cold and too dark to deal with tonight. Hopefully just a bulb as everyone has mentioned.

    Brrr...

    If I'm not mistaken, only the SR and SR5 trim levels have the dual element 7442NA bulbs in that position.
    Here's a link to information I discovered back when I was looking for spares.

    @Tullie D

    I went to the dealer a few days ago and ordered a new bulb, surprisingly they had none in stock. They said it should come in a few days, no word yet. I did not swap the drivers side and passenger side bulbs as I've been visiting the parents out of town for the holidays, and decided I will just replace the problem one and see. I am fairly certain the bulb is the culprit as others have mentioned. Will post back when the new bulb is in with the final results! Merry Christmas! :)

    Odd, i have a 2019 off-road and my DRL’s are the little LED strips, not the inner light

    For anyone that cares... the dealer ordered the wrong bulb the first time, they had to order the right one again which finally came in this week. Swapped out the old bulb with the new and the problem is fixed. You can see one of the filaments is broken on the old bulb. Now I know for next time!

    Thanks for the update. The third gen SR and SR5 uses 7442NALL bulbs for the front turn signal, parking light, and DRL. The 7442NALL is an Amber 28W/8W dual filament bulb. They are not stocked in any of my local auto parts stores.
    That's why I have spares on hand. :thumbsup:
