I have owned a couple of Tacomas but the last two have had an annoying vibration and dealership keeps telling me it’s the tires even after putting two sets of new tires on. The first SR5 was used 2021 with 30k on it and the vibration was so bad they took it back and put me in a new 2023.
After a month it is now doing the same thing. it’s very discouraging that a 40k plus vehicle would have these issues at all.
the vibration occurs at various speeds and just drives you crazy.
They say it’s normal but how can that be, if it’s normal they need to tell you this before you purchase
Has anyone found what the real issue is?
The dealership either doesn’t have a clue or they do and just know they don’t have a fix for it.

    Warped rotors?
    Warped drums?
    Driveshaft out of balance?
Are the tires road force balanced?
Belle tire road force balanced mine for free and my vibs went away.

At of all 3 Tacoma’s I’ve owned I only had that vibration issue with my 1st Gen with Goodyear Dura Trac tires. Went nuts checking the truck out ended up being the tires. Scrapped then never had a problem since. Go to a reputable tire shop and have them check out your truck.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Perhaps it might help if you were to describe the vibration you're experiencing.
e.g. When braking. Thru the steering wheel. Thru the seat.

You need to be more specific when this occurs like said above, Did you change the tire recently or are these the original causing the issue. You can’t blame Toyota if it’s a tire issue, as you know they don’t manufacture tires. Could it be a bad rim…sure but too many variables and more information needed to come up with a logical conclusion.

Mine vibrates a bit more than any of my other 3rd gens. Kinda a vibration through the floorboard, gas pedal, steering wheel when accelerating. Had the road force balance done and it helped some, we had a warm day over the weekend and noticed the vibration was vastly reduced. It seems to be a cold temperature related vibration on my truck

Yours could be the compounds that make up the tire, if cold effects it, did they ever check the drive shaft out on your rig for the cause of the vibration.

Design issue. See: Driveline Operating Angle | Tacoma World

It appears that Toyota exceeds Spicer guidelines.

Also, angle should be the same on both ends of the same shaft segment. However, different segments can have different angles.

Tires often develop flat spots when sitting overnight. It takes a few miles of driving the next day for them to dissipate. This tends to be more pronounced in cold weather.
Both of my Tacomas have exhibited that behavior, with both the OEM tires and with the replacements.
