    Yes, under truck on frame
The levers on rear brake backplates seize up and need lube under rubber covers to prevent that.

Also, today I stalled the truck three times at an intersection on 202 because I forgot to downshift from 3rd and thought I was in 1st; So, I was taking my foot off the clutch and hitting the gas, but I was in 3rd!

It really is a fun truck though; I proposed trading trucks with Gwyn, but the truck used to belong to her ex-husband before he died and she doesn’t think the kids will let her get rid of it, plus the truck is six years older than mine and has like 30K more miles!

^ this right here. and since I see you are in PA it may be time to replace those rear levers too. mine started corroding and seizing up causing the handle to not retract into the dash all the way.

how is the bake fluid level?

the parking brake light will come on when you are low on brake fluid. If it's not particularly low on fluid, just add a little bit more to make sure the tank is topped off because even if the fluid level is a tad below the MAX line, it's enough to make the light come on

I would check these both first then move onto the adjustment at the frame rail. You'll need to jack the rear end to test.

I've fixed this on 5 different 2001-2004 Tacomas. Every time it has been the adjustment shown in this link, under the driver's seat.

its an old saying is all...

Hitchhikers used to scrawl it with Magic Marker on a piece of cardboard, and some oh-so-clever marketers emblazon phrases like “Daytona Beach or Bust” across the chests of their souvenir T-shirts. But the “bust” in the phrase has nothing to do with female anatomy; rather, it refers to the “risk everything and go for broke” definition of the word.

Picture it: Colorado Territory, 1859. The hysteria of the California Gold Rush a decade prior had faded, and prospectors were now turning their attention to the South Platte River, where a placer deposit near what is now Englewood, Colorado yielded 20 troy ounces of gold. One year later the cities of Denver, Boulder, and Golden sprouted and flourished to provide food and accommodation to the local miners. Word of “free gold” spread, and soon folks with nothing to lose packed up their meager belongings and headed to what was then known as Pike’s Peak Country. “Pike’s Peak or Bust!” became a catchphrase for the thousands of hardy souls who left their homes to brave the harsh weather and terrain via horse or mule-drawn wagons and start life anew in this place where gold (allegedly) flowed freely and wealth was at the fingertips of anyone with a pickaxe and a sturdy back.

    ....
if there ever comes a time down the line that my knees start giving me problems i can get a cool mod equipped like my late uncle stricken with polio had in his traveling '70s van to make it move forward!

It is actually was really rough when I bought it. It belonged to an elderly gentleman who used it as a farm truck on his property.
It had a huge ugly orange stain allover the truck. I bought it, brought it home, washed it , and cut and rubbed it,and pulled the color back out.
It had a lot of small dents and dings, but that is the beauty of white cars and trucks, it hides everything !
But it really is in good shape.
This what I love about my truck !
