Very similar to my 1999 TRD Tacoma.

I had a 1999 in Imperial Jade Mica [Green].
I sure do miss that truck. The times and memories made in it are priceless.
That’s back when I didn’t know any better, and how that truck kept going I have no idea.
3” of lift running heavy 32x11.50x15 Goodyear MTR and pulling a tandem axle trailer with 4 quads and4 people in the truck.

That’s the same truck I learned what “Stuck” really was.
Like to the frame, it ain’t coming out easy stuck. All nighter on that incident.
And to beat it all, I lost the key in the mud.

Yes it was. That was Orion. Good little pup.

I went on a 2 week vacation starting in the last week in September. Knowing what I know about cold weather survival...I went a little unprepared this trip and this was back when you couldn't look on your smartphone for the next weeks weather.

In that picture, we were at the top of Mt Antero.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Antero

I got out so he could take his first piss at 14270' of elevation & snap a picture. It was so cold. We slept down at the base of the mountain that night. He woke me up around 2am and I couldn't figure out what the hell he kept barking at. Finally around 3am I just started packing up the campsite to head over to the western slope. When I turned the truck around I found out why he was barking so much. A rather large brown bear was pretty close. He got a few extra pets and some treats that trip.

Overall he was a great dog. He protected this very truck from getting broken into. I came out from the store and someone tried to get inside (I had the windows rolled down about 8" since he was inside). I came out and there was blood everywhere on the front passenger seat and door panel. He got into someones arm pretty good. Another time someone broke into my home in the county before I was married. It was weird. This dog would only bark at other animals, but when it came to humans....come on in MFer. I found blood in my master bedroom where they came in. Orion took a few hits from something on his head, but he was ok. Again....some treats and extra treatment. That dog went everywhere with me.

I really miss my 1st gen trucks. Since I never lived in the rust belt, we never had any issues with that.

I should have looked you up @TnShooter in June. We were in your area (Fairfield Glade). It was so damn hot and humid though. I just don't remember it that way when I lived there in the early 90's.

June is an odd month here. The first part of the month is usually not too humid.
But by the end of the month it hot and humid.

    I live in East Tennessee.

We hung mostly out in East TN (La Follette/ NC) and hung out with some friends off the site. Forgot how the lack of elevation you could drink like a fish and not get a buzz.

My family is from Sevierville. But I grew up in North Knox.
I’m probably 30 mins from La Follette.

You should buy the whole damn thing! I'm guessing that the owner only had liability insurance and that's why it still has a clean title...

Absent is a decent underhood photo of that corner, to show how badly mangled is the radiator-support and inner-fender!

If I had a 1st Gen, I would buy this exclusively for parts. Having a clean title makes things a bit less complicated on the off chance someone decides to rebuild it though...

Not if you bought it for parts and scrapped what you didn't need for cash!
