No wonder your wife doesn't want to sell it! Did your frame get replaced?

Did you upgrade the stereo or add a backup camera? If I could talk your wife into selling, I'd add a ground-pounding stereo and a backup camera upon taking possession!

The biggest part of my truck that's ever been replaced is the rear left fender, no thanks to a drunk old man in a Mercedes...

Some seem to be forgetting this is a configuration has not been made in many years unlike some are comparing it to .Some of us won't have nothing but reg cab with what would be a short bed on any other brand and understand they are not plentiful. This being rare compared to AC and 4dr's is the only reason its high price. I also never buy new I prefer to buy a year or so old with no mileage because the guy who bought it new got beat ( and farted on the seat cheap fix ) so bad on it that I get a better deal and an as good warranty.

My dad bought what would later became my truck in the middle of the recession (September 2009). Sticker was over $17K and he paid less than $14K for it, trading a 1996 Pathfinder for it, putting like two grand down, and financing it at 2.9% APR. He paid it off early in late 2012 or early 2013 and signed it over to me in 2016. New isn't always the worst deal, but I can definitely see where you are coming from!

In the Sopranos episode "Kennedy and Heidi" (season 6, episode 83), Christopher Moltisanti (played by Michael Imperioli) complained about the stereo system in his 2007 Cadillac Escalade EXT (then a brand new vehicle, as the episode was filmed and took place in early 2007), stating that "this system has no balls" moments before he crashed the Escalade while high on coke...

Obviously I'm not a a drug-addicted mobster, but I started quoting Michael Imperioli's character from the moment my dad bought the Tacoma...

    "This system has no balls!"
    -Christopher Moltisanti

Yes, in case you hadn't noticed, I am a huge fan of The Sopranos!

New isn't a bad deal if that's what you want.....buuuuuuuuut, you have to remember that you're buying a new truck, and as soon as you sign the title, it's a used truck with a used truck's value. With our trucks, it's not AS bad...but when I was looking to buy, I looked at other makes and new prices are outrageous...I just couldn't justify paying $65,000 for a truck that would be worth $45,000 at the first oil change. That's just............................................well, I couldn't do it and ended up in a Taco....I got the better deal :)

Go to their website and check the price again.
Gaurentee its less than the lot price.

If it isn't less... than they just barely got the vehicle.

I detail cars at a large "family" of dealerships, and a few years back this company's Subaru dealer had a 1994 Chevy S10 Blazer 4x4 on the lot for something like four grand. This is a bit high if the Blazer is in perfect condition, but while it was in good physical condition, it had serious mechanical problems and would not pass inspection if I remember correctly. It was dark green with a gray interior, and it had every option except power windows and locks, but four grand?!?!
