Wow, I had to do a double take, my sister is employing a guy to get skunks out of her yard and has a very similar truck. Fairly sure his white gen 3 with a shell is an OR though

 

Ha! The mill in Clinton. My buddy helps to organize the Wheels for the Wheel car show there. Was supposed to go, but inhave one of those pesky job things.

I saw quite few vehicles at Fred Beans Toyota yesterday, and the previous owners of this 2016 DCSB TRD Sport just happened to show up in the RAV4 they traded it for while I was wandering around the lot; They bought this truck new, and we got to talking...

The husband told me that they paid either $34K or $36K for this truck when it was new (I forget); The truck has almost 90K miles, and Fred Beans is asking almost what the damn thing cost new! I understand that these are unprecedented times, and that demand exceeds supply, but when do we draw the line between trying to make money and just being an asshole?!?!

This truck is in excellent condition, but I am still not used to living in a world where ANY vehicle that is over five years old and has almost 100K miles is going for new vehicle money...

Brand new 2022 SX with a "Tacoma Market Value Adjustment" of more than $1,800; Thompson Toyota in Doylestown charges sticker, but they are seriously the only dealer in the area that doesn't gouge you out the ass with markup on new vehicles...

Lol what a ripoff, what's "security code"

 

I might be wrong, but I believe it's where the etch the VIN into the glass and then enter it into some sort of database? My dad bought a certified preowned 2018 GMC Yukon at another Fred Beans dealer almost four years ago, and he simply opted not to get the "security code"; I would never pay for it, because the county DA held an event at the Toyota dealer near me where they etched the VIN into the windows for free, and I did this. My windshield, both side windows, and the rear window have my truck's VIN etched into them and I didn't pay a thing!

 

If I tossed my 2015 out on the front lawn for sale I'd probably toss a sign on it for around 35 K or so. Low miles so what the heck, gotta see if the fish are biting.

What's a SX? Haven't seen that before.
