I swear I’ve seen SR5s with steel wheels, though I might be thinking of 2nd Gen; What’s the deal with the paint-matched bumpers then?

 

SR and SR5 have steel wheel options and alloy wheel options (most SR's are steel)

SR does not have fog lights so thats the main giveaway

 

I thought some 2WD SR5 did not have them? Though again, I might be thinking 2nd Gen 5-lugs...?

 

You can buy those painted plastic panels for the rear bumper.

 

also another giveaway on most is the lack of Fender flares, every trim but SR has 'em in color-matched or black form

 

Not all SR5 tacomas have fender flares

Ran into a couple of women here all the way from Washington in their brand new 2021 DCSB TRD OR 6-speed; They had three German Shepherds in the truck with them!

She was not too keen on getting her picture take, but she is a TW member and said I could post pictures of her dogs!
