Yes sir. I really like those wheels & the Firestone Destination LE2s that came mounted on them have performed admirably to date. That SX package was $715, including the wheels along with black flares, mirror caps, & door handles. IMHO an ass kicking deal.

I think homie just liked the rims and swapped them, either at dealership or bought them from someone. I am probably going to get some TRD sport 5 stars for my SR5, cuz i dislike the SR5 wheels.

Originally part of a thread called Anybody lower, like REALLY LOWER, their 3rd Gen?...

To date, the only "lowered" 3rd Gen I've ever seen is my uncle's 2017 AC TRD Sport 2WD; I am not really fan of "slammed" trucks in some cases, but I've been stalking Tacomas for years and I have yet to see a significantly lowered 3rd Gen...

The truck above is rather outlandish; I found these pictures online and am pretty sure they are photoshopped. The 3rd Gen is too big to be considered a minitruck, but I would love to see one lowered in the same way one might lower a 1st Gen; This one honestly looks like something Batman would drive...

Having a hard time finding a picture of a truly slammed 3rd Gen that doesn't have a widebody kit..

And then here is my uncle's 2017 AC TRD Sport 2WD with a mild drop; Rest assured, it only looks squatted in the pictures because there was an engine block and some wheels in the back at the time I took them!

Personally I really love my 4 banger Taco. I often wish there was a rwd inline 4 sedan I could daily, but everything is FWD these days so I could understand why someone would want a lowered/Xrunner 3rd gen.

I agree with you. My question was better directed to the OP after seeing the thread title.

I would agree; I spent an hour looking for trucks that didn't have these stupid body kits...

I don't particularly care for the widebody kits; They're literally all I could find...

I think if you lower a tacoma a bunch of people come in the middle of the night and take you to a "reeducation" camp.

I even lifted mine, and it's a 2WD! So many people told me to "slam" it, but my excuse was always that it would make it practically useless as a truck!
