I still haven't seen a Trailhunter on the road. Most every dealer I look at lists one Trailhunter allocation.

At this price, I can see why it’s just languishing on the lot!

Advertised $3,400 off MSRP on their site. I think an offer below $60k it’ll sell all day.

There was a new 2025 Trailhunter at the Lehigh Auto Show, and it's also more than $65K!

Crazy what they are asking for these trucks. Don’t think the prices will drop if people are willing to pay those prices for them

Base model 4th Gens are not a common sight in my area, but as of last Sunday, Thompson Toyota had three 2WD access cabs in stock that were part of a fleet sale. Just to give you an idea of how obscene prices have gotten, less than 20 years ago I seem to remember seeing an AC TRD Off-Road for roughly the same price as this truck. My 2010 RC 5-lug had an MSRP of $17K and change in September 2009, and my dad paid less than $15K after negotiating quite a bit and getting $2,300 for his 1996 Nissan Pathfinder on a trade. The night we bought my truck, Peruzzi Toyota had a red 2010 AC 5-lug SR5 on the lot as well, and the sticker price on that truck was like $23K if I remember correctly. I actually wanted the red truck, but my dad thought it was too expensive and both of my parents that it would be better for a new driver to have a vehicle with no backseat and room for only one passenger…

Toyota really needs to make a lower priced smaller pickup to compete in the category of the Maverick.

Not in the near future they wont.......
No ones going to make much of anything with the future being so unpredictable.
I suppose they could make one cheap enough to still turn a profit, but I'm betting quality will suffer.
And if they do that, the reputation of Toyota will be recked. People (maybe even me) would certainly look at other brands on their next purchase.

    I didn't buy a Tacoma because I wanted "a Tacoma".
I bought a Tacoma because I wanted to get in it, turn the key, and drive it.
And that's all I wanted to do. I didn't want to have to work on it.

Truth is, I WANT a full size 3/4 ton truck.
But, I don't NEED it. The ones that are available, I'd have to work on more than I want.

It sure does have $12k in mods on it. I still don't want to pay 70k for a Tacoma that came with a $55k window sticker. Koch did put together a nice looking truck. I thoght it was a Pro at 1st.

This truck is for people who want mods without actually doing the work. You’re going to spend $9k to $12k for this setup anyway. I purchased my TRD off-road hybrid for $53k and easily topped $10k in tires/wheels and other mods

Why would someone buy this over a Terra Pro?
