Tacoma SUN SHADE - "Toyota Trucks" logo or Plain Silver

I have a dash cam directly below the visor and my sun shade can be carefully moved around it.

Fits well, if only I could replicate the folding of the sun shade again seriously looks nothing folded up like the video from Level7Taco in post #1

 

Check out the video in the first post of this thread. Once you fold the two pieces over, with the loop facing you place your hands on either end and twist in opposite motion and the shade will collapse easy. Once you do it its second nature

 

I'm only kidding (not really) I got out of the gym last night and sat in my Taco for about 10 minutes trying and finally got it folded up just not as small as when you shipped it to me

 

Don't force it... you'll pop the frame. Just take a look at the video, it will help

 

@Level7Taco Out of curiosity, do you still have any sun shades to fit a Supra?

4 years isn't bad but, if it gave way like that it means the seam (fabric) gave way which is due to rubbing. I would suggest ordering the pouch for storage so it protects it from friction when you store it behind or under the seat.

Since your a repeat customer I'll send you this one with the pouch on me.

 

honestly… surprisingly impressed! i mean the design aspect of 2 half’s pivoting, making it compact and Capable of hugging the mirror for a tight fit. Best part is that it holds in place on its own- I never liked folding the visors down (never even use them for its intended purpose).


1 possible thing would be to sew in a “patch” backer with the same fabric on the backside of the pivot ring. As it is now you have a directed circle on the center dash that I’m sure over time would leave its mark

As per the small dime size circle on the pivot ring. The sun is always moving so the circle only gets direct sunlight certain mins of the day depending which direction you are parked.
