Full Gypsy Tarper mod. It's now the Sarasota North Bridge Fishing limited edition Tacoma.
I present to you, the "Tarper System!" (Tarp/Topper) I built this recently. Amazing in every-way; Truly a cheap masterpiece that comes in handy at times. This is the under the bridge downtown fishing edition 2012 Toyota Tacoma people really seem to love. It recently achieved an impressive 8.5 out of 10 on the prestigious Foster Gypsy scale(next door neighbor). Sadly it failed to qualify in the redneck category due to a lack of camouflage. I'm told this can be easily remedied by spray painting the hub cabs with a tri color of brown and green drab. In order to achieve a higher gypsy score next year I plan on adding some noisy, clanging iron pots and pans hanging in plain sight. No other modifications planned at this point however.

It was a blast to design and execute and passed the strict height requirements at the McDonald's drive thru(barely). It is a combo of Mark Davis and Captain Don in terms of both engineering/style vs function. No surprise there as they were my mentors growing up. The entire structure flexes just enough to transfer wind energy during heavy storms just like San Francisco(yes, the city). To remove the entire structure involves simply cutting four zip ties and one person can have it put away in their bedroom closet in minutes returning the entire vehicle to stock.

If you continue to pull the tarper down it will cover both sides of the truck for more privacy and weather protection. So much fun these pickup trucks. The following is included in this package which sadly is currently unavailable at most Toyota dealerships:

    (1) Weber grill, (1) Marine cooler, (2) fishing poles, (1) fold down drink holder, (1) quick release multi tool with fishing pliers
    (1) lounge chairs(folding away style), (1) half table(My dad's favorite camping table sawed in half to butt up against the side)
    (1) inflatable 6 foot mattress with cot(I added a 3 inch memory foam cover as well), (1) chimney fire starter, (1) potable 10 gallon water wash down, (1) 3 gallon drinking water with marine grade water filter, (1) charcoal caddy, (1) tackle box, (1) Roll of Seaman fabric., (2) bathroom towel hanging mounts(to hold the fabric wrapped around a single pvc pipe), (1) LAN line style 1987 corded phone for making pristine calls while fishing to my girlfriend in prison, (1) live-well bait bucket system in 5 gallon bucket, (1) fishing quick release fishing net, (1) stand up solar heated shower(5 gallon), (1) complete set of Coleman outdoor cookware with coffee pot, (1) lugable loo(toilet lid on a 5 gallon bucket that doubles as a trash bin), (1) 32 ounce empty Orange Gatorade(Mark Davis custom emergency traffic approved urinal). It's important to note that it is not recommended that you use the empty "lemon lime" labeled Gatorade flavor to avoid confusion in the cooler.

Hope everyone is doing well and enjoyed the photos.

Correct. Actually it's an $18 dollar Best Buy lan line phone. Early Miami Vice style in appearance though but it is hooked up to my magicjack via macbook pro with verizon hotspot. I don't believe in cell phones anymore. I also have a short wave radio for weather reports.

Thanks holmes:) They are actually one of the more expensive parts in this project, $28.00 each from Lee's outrigger company in Miami, FL. It's like putting G-money gold rims on a KIA basically.
