Tacoma too expensive to drive?

50mpg if I don’t drive like an absolute lunatic (kinda hard not to tho, that twin is fun).

 

This is a good thread. I made a drinking game out of it on page 3 with my “here’s what we’ll talk about over the course of this thread” guesses. And I’m in trouble. Like, time to start drinking water in concert with the margaritas.

So if I buy gas with my cash back rewards card, I then get money on everything I spend therefore my Tacoma is making ME money!

This is how I justify many truck and PC parts.

I work Mondays. Tuesdays I nap and drink and and read about gas prices on Tacomaworld and make things in the garage. And it’s not noon yet where I am!

Brutal. I got 62L for $105.00 last night

 

Highway robbery.

 

We were just talking about this with the local moto group, does this mean motorcycle prices will rise? maybe a little. Picking up a new bike with a 42 month warranty i plan to ride the piss out of either way. Mpg closer to 35-40 which still doubles the tacoma on its best day. Dealer included a nice $400 rear luggage system at no cost making it even easier to bring everything.

Perfect commuting bike there.

So, $4000 for a lift;
$2000 for wheels and tires
$5000 for armor
$3000 for sooper cool bedrack and molle mounts
$1000 for tent that's too good to touch the ground
And why not, throw in a couple grand for clazzios, weatherbeaters, and a red plastic start button.


But fuck putting more than $50 bucks in the tank. That's ridiculous.

That is impossible. Before it got anywhere near that level demand destruction and frenzied supply increases would take effect. $10 a gallon gas would deep-six the economy.

Never forget the solution to high prices are high prices.

 

Don't forget that market adjustment.

I would imagine the price of booze and beer has gone up as well.

It's stange how people will complain about fuel prices and not other things. I'm basically poor, but it's not like I'm not going to buy gas.
