I think we need a bit more context? In the cab, in the bed, are you thinking of those big, bed rail supported ones, etc.?

I have a 108qt Plano trunk in my bed. Good, easy-to-remove storage. If you have an ACLB, Dewalt has small, inexpensive tool boxes that level the rear floor.

Here's what I use in my 2023 DCSB. Fit perfect side-by-side between wheel wells and under Lomax bed cover. More details in my post here:

    Cam Locker

Magnum cab racks has their own box now.

I probably missed a bunch Lowes used to sell a Kobalt box that would fit, probably the best as far as price goes.

I think the cross box I had on my Tacoma pushed the bedsides out at the front of the bed. I never had much weight in the box.

There's a ton on facebook marketplace. I picked up a decent one for $80 and I've been using that.

Just make sure to take into consideration to get a low profile box because mine takes up almost half of my back window and if i wasn't such a cheap ass I'd look for a slimmer one.
If you want I can send you pics and my mounting solution when i get off of work.

I am happy with my UWS toolbox, I took it off my 2018 OR DCLB and put it on my 2022 OR DCLB. I intentionally got the width so it is not flush with the sides of the truck, I liked the inset look better and that gives me space to run a strap around it or reach the front tiedowns if needed. I used Dee Zee toolbox tiedowns to attach it and painted them black, they are barely visible. I have not found the height of the standard toolbox to be a problem. I drive alone 90% of the time and keep the back headrests folded down.

Hey that’s real nice, I’d rather have one that doesn’t poke so much above the bed rails because I have a back window sticker that would be covered up with that one and I don’t wanna bother with removing it and getting another

UWS slim and short is what I run. No complaints at all
