Yes, I saw that. 0w-20 only was right on the oil cap and the fender.

I agree that some of the plastics are harder than the 2nd gen, but that door fabric looks and feels 100x better than my 2nd gen. I'm also a fan of the black dash though I'd have concerns with heat in the summer and whether it could handle it long term.

I keep forgetting to ask if anyone has taken a picture of, or if someone gets a chance to take a picture of the sticker on the hood. It's not visible enough in any of the pics shown, I'm curious if it has any info on it. Also curious if there is a sticker of any type in the door jam (compliance, model codes, etc.).

I think the tour is out in BC next. Maybe one of the BC members who plans on showing up can take some photos of it. I would not be surprised if there was not a sticker as its a prototype

Yeah, I was looking for a picture inside the hood that would give away the engine but it just said "Prototype" lol. It did say 0w20 though, so this Tacoma will use that for oil.

That's generally what happens with new designs, which is why I ignore all the whiners...

If you saw that grill in person you would be apologizing profusely to all the "whiners"

are all the 3rd gens gonna be E-85 capable? i havent been following alot of this stuff because it gets really redundant from time to time, and most of it up until now is just a guess. maybe in 15 years or so i may thing about buying one.

Hopefully E-85 is gone in 15 years.

No, it is not E85 capable. The cap I took a picture of had the same warnings about using high ethanol concentrations as the cap on a 2nd gen.

The thing with ethanol is no one has found an efficient way to turn cellulose, which is a structural starch in plants, into ethanol in a quick and efficient manner. If someone could figure that out biofuels would have a real market since at that point you could actually make more energy from the plant than it took to grow the plant.

BTW did no one notice me rocking the Tacomaworld sticker on my truck? It even made it into one of the tour pictures:

I think you must have forgot your glasses on that day. That or you need to head down to the optometrist.
