There was a guy there with a professional looking video camera and a few DSLR's but I don't think there were any professionals. Maybe freelance bloggers at best.

I was there like everyone else, to look at the truck. Was surprised that they had free burgers/hotdogs (good quality ones) and the trail run at the end.

I don't think Fuse is some Toyota "plant". I asked questions too of the Toyota expert who was there and he was very unspecific in his answers (e.g. fuel economy was my big question)

Haha that might have been me. Blue polo shirt and a rangefinder type camera in hand (or a hamburger, depending on the moment). Definitely had a little tech/feature envy, but not enough to go run to the dealer to trade in.

I stuck around for the trail run (got talked into it by some of the Cochrane guys). Mine is stock but for wheels/tires. Was a fun run, nothing too challenging for what I did. Got some cool photos out of it!

The BBQ was pretty solid. Toyota had one of their experts and two camera guys running around (they also came on the trail run after), but at any given time there were a handful of people with legit cameras running around that I don't think were associated with Toyota. Probably just nerds like me.

Anyone who chatted with the reps got the same answers I did. Genuinely surprised to be accused of being a plant haha.

Yup, I think you were the guy. I saw someone there with a nice / small rangefinder camera taking photos.

I'll be taking the 2016 for a test drive and if it is a big jump over my 2010 (ride, fuel economy, additional safety features) then I might be tempted to buy one but it certainly won't be a spur of the moment thing.

One last thing to harp on, to me that grill honestly looks worst close up and in person that it does in the pictures. That's just my opinion though.

It wouldn't keep me from buying the truck, but I'd be looking for aftermarket/custom options from Day 1, thats for sure.

Yes, because Toyota is struggling to get info out to potential customers on TW. What a fucking joke.

Thanks for the photos OP. Just tired of seeing the sport and no access cab TRD OR in anything other than tan.

They should have the Access cab a TRD model and a limited model on the Tour.

Have we seen an Off Road other than the Sand one at the debut show in January? Maybe they will come with color match flares if that was all they could make in little time

The "all known configuration photos" thread or whatever has a DCLB OR in it. But you only get one pic of it. It's white if I remember correctly.

Edit: nevermind. It is tan but it is a DCLB unlike the original offroad pic.

So one other model. Do we know when that was made? I think I saw that one and you can't tell if the bumper is color match or chrome. ??? I hate the chrome bumper but my gf likes it, so ehh

Yep. It's that damn inferno color.

No color matched fender flares on the OR. See my post and attached PDF.
