Just want to say thank you to everyone who made an effort to help me figure out my situation. @caribe makaira I am very thankful for all the information and patience with me and my lack of electrical engineering knowledge. Ultimately I have learned a lot about setting up the 7pin brake system and I hope that this post will help others who actually have the Tacoma which can even pull the desired weight to need trailer brakes. As of now, I will probably only use the 4pin setup and tow a small trailer, single axel. I do have one more question for Tacoma World, with the 2.7l AT 2WD I have no automatic transmission thermostat to pin open. I have planned to go ahead and add an auxiliary cooler. I guess my question is, is it wise to add the aux T-cooler even though I have no "manual" t-stat?

A a/t cooler is also a good thing if towing.
