    Hey guys, does anybody have a write up on changing out the transmission wire on a Tacoma? Sorry but I couldn't find anything on the search. I have the manual with the black and white pictures but I'm just wondering if somebody has a step by step tutorial with real pictures, or even a video. Thanks a lot

    I agree .
    There are 60 transmission wires that go from the transmission up to the transmission computer .
    It would be great if you could tell us what wire out of the 60 wires you need to change out

    Yep, its the wire under the transmission oil pan. Thanks Jimmyh I already have that toyota manual - I'm just looking to see if anybody on this forum has their own DIY on it although it doesn't look like a very complicated task.
