I am planning on buying a Tacoma. My cousin purchased a used TRD 2007 4 x 2 and he lifted it 6 inches at 4 wheel parts. Pro Comp suspension.

Back to my story/question, the whole purpose of buying a TRD is for the suspension. Correct? If I am planning on getting the same truck, shouldn't I get a Pre-runner? I am already planning on lifting it. Why pay more for a TRD suspension if I am planning on putting a lift?

Also, if I do the lift with someone else, apart from the dealer, would it void my warranty on the truck? Just thinking it might be cheaper else where.

Thank you all for your help.

TRD OR comes with a few other options. Like the 110 outlet in the bed and the locker rear differential. Yes the suspension is upgraded but you have to weight those other options.
