Nice! I think the stock rear shocks from the Pro were definitely better than what you have on there now, should of left them on. I think your new shocks are a downgrade, but they are adjustable. Love the upper control arms tho!

Can't wait to see it with some new tires!

Im curious how you like being digressive suspension wise now instead of the stock progressive?

Has connections. Can help source new or used from the mother land.
Just mounted some forged 2-piece SSR wheels on my Tacoma.

True that man, I think I have been involved in the last 4 ICON failure shit show threads on here within the past 6 months. I think for two of the threads they actually had Icon reps make accounts just to try to mitigate the firestorm they created. I think most of the guys swapped to kings after their ordeals where Icon left them out to dry.

Color option available on 2018 TRD models. Discontinued on the PRO. Might have been cheaper to purchase an 18, but if $ is no problem, no worries. Looks nice.

Truck looks great! Did your work also include switching out the OEM LCAs with Icon LCAs? I think I see that in the 10th photo in your OP.

Agreed. You really gotta try to break the top hat. I'm wheeling and not doing jumps and prerunning so no issue there for me.

In case you wanted to read some of the "TW" related issues for the top hat.

Rear resi notching is a whole another beast. OP, if you didn't notch your rear shock bucket I would do it now. If you end up leaking without a notch ICON WILL NOT WARRANTY YOUR SHOCKS IF THEY LEAK.

He doesn't have resis. Only necessary with Icon 2.0 with resis.

First post: OP never said how they broke. Avoided the question the whole time.

2nd post: "spirited driving" ...you can extrapolate what you want from that.

3rd post: Look at what SDHQ off road posted "We have seen this happen with Kings, SAW's and Fox's. The issue is not with the top cap, it's the set-up of the entire suspension and a weak coil-bucket. Ya the shock mount split, but so did the coil bucket on the truck. Having another plate wont stop it, just band-aid it. If you bottom out hard enough on anything this will happen. Full LT or Mid-Travel. I have seen shock mounts on built race vehicles snap like twigs. If the shock was the weak point the shaft would have bent. Not saying every truck must have limit straps and bump stops, but we cycle every kit we put on to check for any issues. As much as a slightly bent frame or coil bucket can cause an issue. Also, Icon is aware of this issue also and they are working on a solution just the same as the other companies are i'm sure.

LT or Mid you should always cycle and make sure evrything is bumped and strapped correctly. "

Also OP doesn't have rear resis and don't need to notch the bucket. I have the same kit. They ride great, soak up big bumps and hits and are great for wheeling.

Are kings a better shock? Most likely at a much higher price point for sure, but for what it is Icons are great shocks. Much better than the modified bilstein "adjustable" coilovers (boss, etc). Personally, I lean more towards ADS later down the line, but for what I do, stage 1 Icons are all I need.
